You own the finished website
Once your project is paid in full and launched, the finished website — including design files, code, copy, and configurations specific to your business — belongs to you. Not Dentara. Not a third-party platform.
The most important promise in our entire legal system: when Dentara builds you a website, you own it. This policy spells out exactly what that means.
Once your project is paid in full and launched, the finished website — including design files, code, copy, and configurations specific to your business — belongs to you. Not Dentara. Not a third-party platform.
Copy you wrote or approved, photos you supplied, and any content created for you during the project is yours to keep, edit, move, or republish anywhere.
Your domain is registered in your name with a registrar of your choice (or transferred into your name if we registered it on your behalf). We never hold a domain hostage. See Domain Ownership Policy.
Analytics, email provider, hosting, and any third-party services connected to your site are under your accounts. We assist with setup, but the login and the billing remain yours.
General components, templates, and proprietary tooling that aren't specific to your business stay with Dentara so we can build for other clients. None of this is unique to your site and none of it would meaningfully transfer.
After launch, request a copy of your production codebase by email and we'll deliver it within 5 business days at no charge.
If you ever choose to leave Dentara, we will not block, slow, or punish that decision. We hand off what's yours promptly and politely.
Ownership reminder: Your domain, content, branding, and final website files belong to you. Dentara builds and organizes — we never trap clients inside our systems.
