Your domain stays in your name
Whether you bring your own domain or we register one for you, the legal registrant on record is you or your business — never Dentara.
Your domain is the single most important asset of your online presence. This policy describes exactly how we treat it.
Whether you bring your own domain or we register one for you, the legal registrant on record is you or your business — never Dentara.
We can register a domain on your behalf as a convenience. When we do, we transfer the registration into your name (or your business's name) before launch, and pass through the registrar's cost with no markup.
We may request temporary DNS access during launch to point records correctly. After launch, control remains in your registrar account.
If you use email at your domain (e.g. you@yourbusiness.com), the mailbox provider account stays in your name. We assist with DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) but we don't hold the mailboxes.
In the unlikely event Dentara LLC ceased operations, your domain would not be affected. It's not registered to us. Your website would also remain in your control because it's deployed under your accounts.
Ownership reminder: Your domain, content, branding, and final website files belong to you. Dentara builds and organizes — we never trap clients inside our systems.
