Client Approval Policy

Effective May 2026
In plain English

Approvals are how we agree something is finished. This policy explains what counts as approval, when it's needed, and what happens after.

§01

When approval is required

  • Intake confirmation — confirming the agreed scope before work begins.
  • Draft sign-off — confirming the structure and visual direction.
  • Revision sign-off — confirming each round is complete.
  • Pre-launch approval — confirming the site is ready to go live.
§02

What counts as approval

A written reply by email ("approved", "go ahead", "all good to launch") is sufficient. We don't require a signed document for ordinary approvals — but the message must be unambiguous.

§03

Silent approval window

If we deliver a draft and don't hear back within 10 business days despite written follow-ups, we treat the stage as approved and continue. This protects the schedule for both sides.

§04

Changes after approval

Once a stage is approved, going back to change it is treated as additional work. We'll flag this clearly before doing the work — never quietly.

§05

Launch approval is final

Launching a website is a public, observable event. We don't launch without an explicit written go-ahead from you.
